Softaculous <![CDATA[Automating Backups]]>
I would post the Softaclous version, but I can't seem to find it in cPanel or in the app itself.

<![CDATA[Can't install Wordpress]]> Fri, 21 Oct 2016 13:50:05 GMT <![CDATA[Wordpress Installation]]>
I have been trying to install Wordpress using Softaculous. It says 'installation successful' but the link doesn't take me to the Wordpress login page - all that appears is the logo for the company I purchased my domain with.

I have tried installling and re-installing several times using Softaculous uninstall. I tried renaming the .htaccess file before putting it back to how it was. I overwrote the .htaccess file on the occasions an error message said there was conflict (based on advice I googled). I don't know where the problem is.

Help please

Oops...the connection was lost

And then this...

It just sits there. What could be causing a reset? (It's not a slow or bad Internet connection)]]>

<![CDATA[Website Speed Optimization]]> this seems related to manage a server... maybe you should know how to do.

I AM not sure this is a really question about Webuzo but seems you need configure your server to
 • Serve scaled images
 • Enable Keep-Alive
 • Enable gzip compression
 • Leverage browser caching

If I AM not wrong for example Enable keep-alive is something in the configuration in Apache if you are using Apache, same for gzip compression.

I don't know if Webuzo Team can support about that. You can do a search on Google if you need to customize the configuration of your application.

<![CDATA[Webuzo Script Update and Backup Issue]]> ]]> Fri, 21 Oct 2016 08:01:09 GMT <![CDATA[Webuzo Script Update and Backup Issue]]>
I reported that to Webuzo because no error has been showed by the backup process and they told me the System do Always a check of the present database before do the backup but in that case no error message and broken backup found so I missed all.

Today I have discovered when I had access to Webuzo in the top there are a Yellow bar message who alert me about a script update avaiable. When I click IT I AM redirected into a Webuzo page where I see the row with the script, here is showed the version and there are a icon for the update (two blue row)

When you click this row to update you see a page where there are a check box and ask if you want made a backup copy before update. Here is not showed if there are database associated or not for Webuzo so you can check the box and proceed but what happen if the database ... for some reason is not associated for Webuzo?

So here I don't know if the system do a check and alert the user if there are no database associated the backup can be corrupted but I suggest to control.
