Boot the PC (Windows 7) and softaculous starts (if its in the start up folder) and puts the boot message half way off the right side of the screen but right in the middle of the  screen is a message  left over from version 2.8 saying there is an upgrade, do you want to install it.
Question 1: How do I get rid of that message?
Question 2: How do I get the boot message into the middle of the screen?
Of course little miss know it all says... Get rid of Ampps and install one of the other WAMPS at Apache friends. Not me, I'm loyal to Ampps — For now!

ANy more annoying bugs and I might change my mind.]]>

Maybe in the use of English by a non-English born person the instructions for fixing the path statement didn't quite come across how a native English speaker would expect and this might be why you have trouble with your laptop.

Example: E:\ampps\http.conf.  As I read his instructions, I had to replace the whole line of code. But in reality it was only the first part of the statement. E:\ampps that need to be replaced. Al the rest is still valid. '$path' tells anything in Ampps looking for the location of files to go to the default directory of ampps, where ever it is.

Hope this helps For what you get Ampps is an exceptional package. Now  if only they can figure out how to write to the hosts file of Windows!

Right I have tried the changing of everything that is $path to where it exists on my laptop and that didn't work. So I am going to uninstall 2.9 and install 2.8. I hope that 2.8 will work and is there anything else I need to know about 2.8. Changes to any configure files or anything???

The error I get when I enable PHP 5.4, 5.5 or 5.6 when going to PhpMyAdmin is: "The mysqli|mysql extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. See our documentation for more information." The help link refers me to /phpmyadmin/doc/html/faq.html#faqmysql but this isn't helpful because the packages are enabled, it just cannot find libmysqlclient.18.dylib. When I go to /cgi-bin/phpinfo.cgi at the bottom of this "PHP Info" page I get:

Quote
Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/Applications/AMPPS/php-5.6/lib/extensions/ext/mysqli.so' - dlopen(/Applications/AMPPS/php-5.6/lib/extensions/ext/mysqli.so, 9): Library not loaded: libmysqlclient.18.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/AMPPS/php-5.6/lib/extensions/ext/mysqli.so Reason: image not found in Unknown on line 0

However, when I run these commands via the command line to see if mysql loads OK it does!

PHP Code

 ➜  AMPPS  pwd
/Applications/AMPPS
➜  AMPPS  php
-5.6/bin/php -'if (extension_loaded("mysqli")) { print_r("loaded"); }'
loaded

I suspect this is a problem with Apache and it's not running PHP with the right arguments or something or using a totally different PHP than the one in AMPPS.

How can I troubleshoot this further?

I am trying out a new slave node using the 'File' storage type with QCOW2 as the format.

The storage shows up fine in the storage section: http://i.spartanhost.net/s-00-33-10.png but when I try to create a VPS on that server box, it gets stuck at 43% (building the VPS). If I close out then the VPS is created but of course unusable as no property files have been created for it etc.

Anyone any idea how to resolve this or if it's a bug within Virtualizor? I'd be surprised if it was as that means the whole 'File' storage system is unusable when it was meant to be a major feature.]]>

I have 4 running servers and 8 domains using postfix with this DNS entry scheme, and they all work ok.
