Has anyone used mod_perl with an ampps install? I can't seem to get it to work and I have no idea why. The mod_perl documentation available on the Internet is contradictory, confusing, and no matter which set of install instructions I try, doesn't work. Usually I can't even finish due to a mid course error.

I'm not a perl expert, but I have some cgi scripts that HAVE to run under mod_perl. Running the normal way is far too slow and consumes all server resources. I quite frankly can't understand why mod_perl (i.e. persistent perl) isn't the default configuration for any Apache install.

Hi,

We haven't thought about adding mod_perl in the package yet. Also we haven't tried configuring it with Apache.
