I found to have a database error when loading a site locally. I opened AMPPS and noticed MySQL was not starting. I restarted, reset config and nothing worked. I decided to delete the AMPPS folder within Applications. I restarted and resintalled but now AMPPS no longer loads:

Ampps cannot be opened because of a problem.

Check with the developer to make sure Ampps works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.

Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

How do I resolve this?

To add, I'm running Mac Yosemite 10.10.1 (14B25) and downloaded (and was running) the latest version of AMPPS at the time.

Alex,

Sorry
no one has come up with a solution for your problem as of yet. But I
can tell you this. YES, Softaculous DOES support AMMPS. Check out this
link HERE!

Remember
that the Forum is made up of unpaid users and not all of them may be as
well versed in solutions to any given problem as they would like to be.
I'd say that may be especially true for AMPPS
because it is a little bit trickier to use than some paid for
application which would supply technical advice for the cost of using
the software.

I myself have used AMPPS because you can't beat the
price for it. It's FREEWARE after all. But I am still by no means an
expert on using it.

IF you have, or even if you do not have, a paid
version of Softaculous and you haven't been able to find a solution to
your problem on the Google page I gave you the link to earlier in this
message then leave the Softaculous Team a ticket about the problem you
are running into. I don't think they always manage to read every post on this
forum but I guarantee you they do provide excellent help in their Support Centre using the TICKET SYSTEM. And I mean help for both
those who are using the free version of Softaculous as well as those who
are using the paid version.

Good luck. And if you come up
with a solution or are provided one by Softaculous Team be sure to post
that solution here so that others will be able to benefit from what you
learned how to do.

Be well,
Zen
