 Just Buy Dedicated Server and Get Error with Port 2004 (4 Replies, Read 18045 times)

Hi

I just buy dedicated server and install it with webuzo. But when I run command:

./install.sh

It stuck in step 2, and when I access IP:2004 it show Unable to connect.

I ask to dedicated provider and have answer:

Please make sure port 2004 is opened in firewall if not open it and try if still

facing problem please contact webuzo as we only provide unmanaged services and this problem you are facing is out of our scope of support.
====================================

I also open ticket in softaculous support and waiting help.

I think is port 2004 is closed in your server should be something of your provider, however I hope very soon you will get a reply here.

Hi Endahe,

Do you have any Firewalld/CSF running on your machine which may be blocking call to softaculous.com ?

Since your installation is not complete, there is nothing to listen on port 2004 and thus you can not getting error "Unable to connect".

Did you check the logs ? What error does it show ?

If possible, please open a support ticket along with your root details and we will check the issue.

Thanks, I have request provider to disable any firewall or ip block rules
