In the past (many month ago) I have made a script backup via Webuzo. For some reason the installation (Example Wordpress) was associated to the database so was working but database info was for some reason missed by Webuzo... so when i done the backup process via Webuzo I had a broken backup without errors. When I was need to resume the backup was impossibile because no database saved by Webuzo.

I reported that to Webuzo because no error has been showed by the backup process and they told me the System do Always a check of the present database before do the backup but in that case no error message and broken backup found so I missed all.

Today I have discovered when I had access to Webuzo in the top there are a Yellow bar message who alert me about a script update avaiable. When I click IT I AM redirected into a Webuzo page where I see the row with the script, here is showed the version and there are a icon for the update (two blue row)

When you click this row to update you see a page where there are a check box and ask if you want made a backup copy before update. Here is not showed if there are database associated or not for Webuzo so you can check the box and proceed but what happen if the database ... for some reason is not associated for Webuzo?

So here I don't know if the system do a check and alert the user if there are no database associated the backup can be corrupted but I suggest to control.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

Are the database details stored in Webuzo wrong or the database details are not present at all ?

Do you face this error while performing just a normal backup from backups page as well or only when you choose the backup option while upgrading your installation ?

I don't know. What I know is about many month ago I performed a backup of a scrip by using Webuzo. I cannot remeber if was by pressing the update icon (blue arrow) so the backup was the backup done before an update or if it was a manual backup from Webuzo backup function. What I remeber was backup has printed a succesfull message and was saved without the database.

Now I AM just alerting you about this also because by following the updgrade process seems no check on the database is done or showed to the user.
