I have a problem with the new release of Ampss on Windows 8.1 when i try to add a new domain. The domain path like C:\Users\nbrunetti\Desktop\My_project is set like c:/users/nbrunetti/desktop/my_project, so, not point at the correct resource. By click the domain name it opens the indexOf pointed by Ampss\www.
Is there a bug or is my mistake on path creation?

I have the exact the same problem on Windows 10.

None of my aliases work after I upgraded to Ampps version 3.6.

I tried to edit the http-conf file in Apache and the vHost file but nothing worked.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

So I found out what the problem is.

After upgrading mod_vhost_alias is set to off in the Apache configuration.

To resolve this go to: http://localhost/ampps/index.php?act=apache_conf, scroll to the bottom and set mod_vhost_alias and set it to on.

If you a lot of Wordpress installations (or website with a MySQL database) then don't be alarmed if you get an error message saying "Error establishing a database connection". When upgrading, the database users are deleted so you will have to create them again. After that everything should work like a charm

I forgot one thing. In the Apache configuration file you have to add this line: "NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1" (without quotation marks). right below where it says: #### Localhost VirtualHost ####.

It doesn't work for me. I have to change the path in windows-style manually on the http-vhost.conf file.
Any other advice??
