Howdy

AMPPS was working fine last week as i was using it to edit some WP themes and left it running but havent used in a week but today I had to go back and do some edits and its suddenly stopped working?

I need to access my dev environment and it seems Apache wont start up and neither will MySQL. I cant even access the apache error log files.

I went through the other thread where someone had a problem with apache starting on their mac and followed what they did but nothing has worked, in fact i think i have made it worst!

I am running el capitan 10.11.2. and the latest version of AMPPS.

Open terminal and run following two commands

sudo apachectl -k stop
sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist

Also check skype is running or not. Skype runs on default port 80.

It probably was caused by the latest update to Mac OSX (I updated yesterday and mine stopped too).  Anyway, after you update again, see my reply in posting - http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=8440&tpg=2#p31137
