 Moving Softaculous FTP Remote server, Moving Server (1 Replies, Read 1210 times)

I have a Softaculous FTP Remote working well on our Citrix network but need to move it to another platform. I tried to convert the linux vm but it fails. How can I copy all the important info off of that server and create a new server and restore things like my ID and customizations in remote.php.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

You can install Softaculous Remote on your new server and then copy the following directory from your old server to your new server :
Code
/usr/local/softaculous/


Once this is done you will need to export the Softaculous database (db name : softaculous) from your old server and import the same on the new server. The path to MySQL is :
Code
/usr/local/emps/bin/mysql


You will also need to change the IP for your Softaculous Remote license. You can refer to the following guide for the same :
