 Update Error, Cant Update the script via Update Center (4 Replies, Read 3939 times)

I tried to update the script from the update center in Softaculous and got this error:

The following Errors were found :

    * There were some errors while updating to the latest version. The Logs of the Update Process are given below. Please try updating after sometime.

Fetching Upgrade......Could not SAVE upgrade file......Abandoning

   
   
       
Any Help?


I also have one more problem, when I change the site name from the Softaculous Settings Page. It says Settings Saved, but when I refresh the page nothing is saved. Its the default settings.

I am assuming you use Direct Admin.

The script will update via the CRON. The files are owned by Root and hence its not allowed to save when Direct Admin is run. The cron will run as Root and update the system.

Abuout Settings: In direct Admin the PHP is not allowed to access files if its not 0777
Just CHMOD the file /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/softaculous/images/universal.php to 0777
