Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 3 Status:	Hi, I'm trying to install Softaculos on a web server with php 5.5.7 php -v output: Quote PHP 5.5.7 (cli) (built: Dec 18 2013 13:24:18) Copyright (c) 1997-2013 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.5.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2013 Zend Technologies with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.5.1, Copyright (c) 2002-2013, by ionCube Ltd. when I run install.sh script i get this error message: Quote PHP Fatal error: The file /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/softaculous/images/main/functions.php was encoded by the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5 and cannot run under PHP 5.5. Any help will be appreciated!

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 15 Status:	same issue. until the program is built with php 5.5 ioncube no commands will fix it. this is up to softaculous to correct, right now I will have to swap back to php 5.4, uninstall it , wasp back to php 5.5.

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5652 Status:	Hi, Sir Softaculous is not compatible with PHP 5.5 at the moment because the packages are encoded with Ioncube version not encoded with PHP 5.5 We will be recompiling the packages soon but it might take some time as we have to compile all the 320 scripts packages. We are updating the packages as well we have already updated 180 packages and will finish updating all packages within 3-4 days. Please PM me your server IP I will issue a free trial then once you are satisfied you can renew the license.
