Hello... before I wreak havoc on my machine by trying to install AAMP, I've got a question: I have mySQL installed and running, backing up my Mail, and a few other tables.

Further, I have MAMP PRO, but I'd like to use your installer instead.

What happens if I run your installer in this circumstance? (I ask because I tried an installation with a similar paid product, and it was a disaster that took 24 hours to recover from.)

What precautions should I take to ensure a safe install? Is there a sleeping horror awaiting me?

Hi,

Sir, AMPPS will be installed in a seperate Location altogether.
So it should not cause any issue of overwriting data.

Secondly, before installing AMPPS just TURN OFF your MySQL and Apache from the other software.
Then install AMPPS.
Incase you want to use the other software, just turn of AMPPS Apache and MySQL and start the other.

Regards,
Alons
