I posted this before, received one reply. I replied to the reply asking a question. I have had no other replies so I am posting again.

I installed Webuzo. I went thru the setup and received the 'Installation completed successfully' screen. Screenshot attached.

However, immediately when I went to the admin panel, I got a 50x error, page is currently unavailable.

I have tried everything I have found in the forums relating to this, e.g. restart the service, restart ngninx, etc. Nothing has helped. I thought I might uninstall Webuzo and start again. It appears, though, that the only way to do that is to reinstall the OS. I don't want to do that if it can be avoided.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Are you sure maybe in your VPS is not present something that can create conflicts with the Webuzo installation?

In any case Webuzo Staff are out of the working day. I forwarded link to this topic to a Staff Member and they will reply to you maybe tomorrow.

Is strange that if I load your IP there are existing content. Maybe your server is not fully clean when you installed Webuzo or you was able to upload files via FTP?

Unfortunately I cannot assist deep in this issue and you need wait a Webuzo member reply.

I can invite you to read again:
  • http://www.webuzo.com/wiki/Install
A question, if you do Webuzo service restart do you see some error? Or what is printed via SSH?
For security reason is not a good idea post an image with your IP and username in a public forum this is why in my signature I offer my webspace for help user with a ticket in case with this where IP and other info can be useful for help you better but is better in private and with trusted user.

Hello,

Thank you for trying to help me. When I restart the Webuzo service, I get the message shown in the attachment. In ssh, I guess that is obvious.

After reading the system requirements, I suppose my downfall is that a LAMP stack was already installed when I tried to install Webuzo.

Is there any way to salvage that?

Seems something is wrong on your Webuzo installation.
There are errors and this is why you are unable to access.

Your situation is out of the normal. Usually a restart go fine without errors.
Maybe your server was not fully clean when you installed Webuzo or something went wrong in the installation process.

I AM still unable to help you to solve this issue. I need ask to a Webuzo Team Member to assist you with that. Please try to wait for a reply tomorrow or soon. If no reply you can try to update the topic again. If you are a premium user you can open a ticket into the webuzo ticket system support.

If your server was not clean than is normal you have issue and maybe ther solution is reinstall the OS and do not install packages than install Webuzo.

The error seems caused by you if you have already something installed so is normal Webuzo are unable to work well. There is not a fix for this.

Okay, I bit the bullet and re-installed the OS. Before I did anything else, I installed Webuzo. It is working!

I know A2Hosting aren't mind readers and have no idea what sysadmins have in mind for their sites. However, the first thing you see when you install a new server is a quickinstaller that does the heavy lifting on the LAMP stack. Oh, boy!

You run that because almost everyone is going to use the stack. THEN you try to install Webuzo. BAM!! You slowly come to realize, with horror, that you are going to have to blow everything away in order to make that happen.

That is pretty painful. Maybe A2Hosting could add a text warning to the quickinstaller. "If you think you may ever want to install Webuzo..."

At any rate, thank you for your help on this!!
