Hello, I'm new to AMPPS coming over from MAMP. I was having trouble getting my old php site running on localhost using AMPPS. I'm not sure how to change the document root to point directly to my existing root directory for my site. I have tried creating a alias and using the path to the site root directory as the "Domain Path", I've tried altering the "DocumentRoot" in the config file for Apache, I've tried creating a second virtual host in a new file and including that in the config instead of the httpd-vhosts.conf. None of these solutions has helped me, they all continue to show the /cgi-bin/ and test.php from the Ampps/www

How would I go about doing this ?

Hi,

Go to Ampps directory, rename www to _www and create symbolic link of your Root directory in Ampps as www.

Open Terminal and run following command to create symbolic link.

ln -s /path/to/MAMP/root/ /Applications/AMPPS/www
