Hi,

2 of our clients just told me that SolftaCulous updates has broken their websites and they were forced to delete everthing and redo from scratch.

So, please add an option to backup the currently installed script before you update it. Fantastico does this very well, and  I don't see why Softaculous doesn't have it.

This might be a server issue. I have never experienced this lately even after upgrading to 2.0

Hi,

A backup option will be there soon.
We are trying to push it in 2.7
