 Squirrel Mail Error, Cant connect to squirrel Mail (4 Replies, Read 9650 times)

Hi,

I ve installed Exim and Dovecote and now i want to connect to squirrel mail. I have added an email adress.

But if i want to login it show me the following error:
Error connecting to IMAP server: eisnae.ch.

111 : Connection refused

I have already reinstalled exim and dovecot. I have too restarted exim and dovecote, but its the same problem everytime.

can anyone help me?

Hi,
For SquirrelMail on Webuzo, you can also try changing Mail Serve details which it use to connect by running following perl script through command line:

perl /usr/local/webuzo/enduser/squirrel/config/conf.pl

And then change SMTP and IMAP Server to your local IP and save the changes and try again.

If the issue still persist, then check, whether Dovecot and Exim service are running fine and listening to ports mentioned on SquirrelMail (IMAP: 143 and SMTP: 25)

WoW ! It works! I have replaced imap and smtp server with my local ip and its working now!

One other thing. i want to add the account now to my outlook / smartphone. i receive emails but i cant send mails.
incoming / outcoming mailserver: mail.eisnae.ch
User: example@eisnae.ch
Incoming: SSL / 995
Outcoming: None / 25
outcoming: requires auth = yes

i have tried thew settings but my output doesnt accepted / doesnt working
