Topic : Way to include themes and plugins with WordPress install

Posted By: Organic on October 6, 2010, 8:36 am
It would be useful to be able to customize the scripts, specifically WordPress, to include items such as themes and plugins.  For example, a user installs WordPress and they already have a variety of WordPress themes and plugins to choose from.  I understand this is currently not possible; but it would be very valuable to our users.

Thanks as always.

Hi,

You can customize WordPress or any other script. Make a custom script.
You may read the documentation on how to make a Custom Script here:

But if I want to keep my plugin installed and activated inside the standard wordpress script ? I have this plugin that I want to ask my hosting partners to activate on their softaculous wordpress scripts.

Hi,

We will add it soon to add the plugins in the default WordPress package itself.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

Is there any planned date for this ?

Hi,

We do not have an exact ETA, however one of the developers has already started working on it and it should be available in the next version of Softaculous.
