Hello fellow coders,

Im trying to set up ampps as an IDE. Is there a way to set it up so that it will spell check my code? Ive looked for a guide on this but didnt find anything yet. If someone could tell me what I need to install to set it up I would be really grateful.

Hi,

Actually AMPPS doesn't require any IDE, PHP(or PERL, Python) does. You can use any IDE which supports the language you are going to code in.

For PHP I know a few:
  • PHPStorm
  • Adobe DreamWeaver
  • Notepad++
  • Eclipse
Similarly you can search on Google for other languages.

Hi,

I am guessing you have created html from TextEditor and saved the file as html. You can confirm the same by viewing the source of the HTML Page displayed in the browser.
