Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 6 Status:	Hi, I have installed Exim and Dovecot. At first, I was able to receive emails but not send due to 550 relay not permitted error. I was able to resolve it. So now, I am able to send emails using Squirrelmail and Roundcube. Now I was trying to configure Outlook/Gmail to be able to receive and send emails. I successfully configured POP/IMAP and it is working fine, but couldn't get SMTP working. I get "Send test e-mail message: None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server." on Outlook and "We are having trouble authenticating with your other mail service. Please try a different port or connection option. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact your other email provider for further instructions." on Gmail. Port - 25 Encryption - None Please help.

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 6 Status:	I removed all the firewalls just for this only. I had configured exim using wizard. Didn't edit the files manually. One strange thing, my SMTP has started working on Thunderbird but is not working on Gmail with same settings.
