Setting up OSTicket on Ampps platform and when I set it up so that OSTicket receives incoming mail, I get the error message, "IMAP doesn't exist. PHP must be compiled with IMAP enabled". I've tried all available mailbox protocol options (IMAP, IMAP + SSL, POP, POP + SSL) and get the message each time.

From browsing OSTicket forums it seems the problem lies within PHP itself. Is it possible to recompile the PHP that Ampps 2.6 installs to enable IMAP.

Running OSTicket v1.9.5.1 on Win 2003 server ( will be moving to 2008 server on go-live)
PHP Version : 5.3.29

AMPPS Version : 4.6.1

Latest Version : 4.6.1

Got it sorted. After more research online, went into each php directory under C:\Program Files\Ampps, backed up the php.ini file, and then uncommented extension=php_imap.dll in each file.

Right clicked the Ampps logo in the system tray, and did the same in the PHP configuration file. Restarted Apache, and can now add incoming mails.

Had problem with port 80 when restarting Apache, but quickly solved by following the steps here; opened Task Manager and killed the httpd process.
