Hi,
I have installed the WP multisite using Softaculous, added a new site and in Domain Mapping set the Primary to http: // www. mydomain.com/
I would like to use the www for various reasons. When i go try to go to the url it says server not found. I have tried to search on the forum but with so many word variables have not yet found a related post.
On the Domain Mapping page it says
Quote If your domain name includes a hostname like "www", "blog" or some other prefix before the actual domain name you will need to add a CNAME for that hostname in your DNS pointing at this blog URL.
If you want to redirect a domain you will need to add a DNS "A" record pointing at the IP address of this server: xxxxxxx
Note: International Domain Names should be in punycode format.
Is there a post(s) or link that explains what this is about and what i need to do or could someone give me advice?
