#1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server, PHPAdmin (3 Replies, Read 35182 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Working Member Posts: 100 Status:	PHPAdmin won't let me in with the default soft username and password. I tried using no username and password, no password and mySQL is running. I get #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server as an error message. Thanks.

Group: Member Post Group: Working Member Posts: 100 Status:	What happened was that the root password had characters in it such as @ and !. Although it worked fine in the root admin system PHPAdmin used a cookie to transfer the password from the root which, of course, PHPAdmin didn't like.
