 Can't stop services (9 Replies, Read 8086 times)

Installed the software and it ran just fine but when I went to try to stop both Apache & MySQL it did nothing, I have to kill the processes every time, even exiting the main application left both running. Any ideas?

Windows XP Home SP3AMMPS 1.3

Hi,

When you kill the process manually? Does the start button gets enabled ?

A note to anyone else who has this problem on XP Home Edition:

Yes, XP Home Edition does not have a Taskkill program.

You can download the zip from the following link.

http://web.archive.org/web/20070125030456/http://home.wanadoo.nl/gigajosh/files/taskkill_en.zip

Extract it into System_Drive:/Windows/system32

It worked for me so it should work for anyone else with this issue.
