Hey,
I see a lot of different plugins for forums, but all of them look a little 'old' and I was shocked to see that NodeBB wasn't figuring in the list. I think that is an excellent forum software , it's modern and easy to use and understand.

Please, could you add NodeBB on Softaculous?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi SirMaxime,

Thank you for your suggestion. But at the moment we do not support node.js so we will not be able to include the script to Softaculous. If in future we add support for node.js we would definitely include this script.

Do let us know if you have find any similar open source script based on PHP we will definitely try to add it.

Oh, okay, I understand :) I have done a quick look around for more modern forum softwares and I found two other ones.
I'm not exactly sure if they're supported by Softaculous, but I'll mention them anyway, you never know ;)

So what I found were:

Discourse and Flarum

Hi,

Discourse is based on Ruby and Rails. Currently we do not provide ruby scripts at the moment. We'll try to add it in future.

Flarum is still in beta phase so we wont be able to add it. Once this script is stable we will try to add it.

Do let us know if you have any other query.
