Hi,

I currently have installatron on my server but it isn't compatible with the latest MODX updates so i'm looking to get Softaculous.
Could you tell me if there is an option to import existing MODX sites to Softaculous?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes you can easily import all the installations from installatron with just one click from Softaculous Admin panel :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Admin_Import_Utility

you can also import it from Softaculous Enduser panel :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/How_to_Import_an_Installation

Do let us know if you need any assistance.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I actually want to import sites that have been manually set up and not set up by an auto-installer.
I tried with Installatron as i already have that on my server but the MODX upgrade fails.
Can I import sites into Softaculous that have been manually set up?

We just picked up softaculous for our cPanel Server.  There are tons of joomla/wordpress installs throughout the server all done manually.  Is there anyway to use the admin utility to import manually installed scripts across the whole server. Or does this need to be done one by one?

Hi,

At the moment you will have to manually import the installations which are installed manually. Or you can use the following API utility :
