Softaculous seems like a great system, but I'm having trouble figuring out how I can package my script for it from the documentation on the Making_Custom_Package page. A step-by-step tutorial with an example would be very helpful and would encourage more people to add their scripts.

I'm not actually clear if script authors can submit packages for distribution through Softaculous on cPanel hosts that support it. Does Softaculous maintain a central repository of scripts, or does it just provide the framework and leave it to webhosts to populate it? I've done a star ratings script I'd love to distribute through Softaculous, if that's possible.

My script creates a SQLite database to store its data - is there support for SQLite, even though it's baked into PHP?

Hi,

If you can let us know what issue you are facing while creating a custom package we can help you with the same.

We do have a repository for apps but it is maintained by us.

If you would like us to add your application you can simply write us an email at support@softaculous.com or create a package and email it to us. We shall review it and add it to Softaculous apps list if it meets our requirements.

At the moment we do not support SQLite database.
