Hi All,
This is my first post and relatively new to AMPSS...hopefully I am not being daft.

So installed AMPSS and Wordpress, and also purchased a wordpress ecommerce theme and downloaded several plugins, and was beavering away as a newbie, creating a site.  AMPSS and wordpress were working fine except for MySQL not starting up a few times (found the solution on this site - deleted some log files - perhaps this is relevant).

Anyway, today I attempt to go to my self-hosted site at 127.0.0.1(/)woo and wordpress is acting as if it is not installed - I get this: 127.0.0.1(/)woo(/) wp-admin(/)install.php .  BUT if I go to the AMPPS home page and under Blogs go to Wordpress, I see 127.0.0.1(/)woo under 'Current Installations'.

I am confused as to what to do...I am wary of losing the wordpress setup I have created, i.e. the ecommerce theme and plugins, not to mention the actual work I have done on the site so far.  I believe if I save down my MySQL database folder and the directory folder, that I will basically have all my work.  But not sure what happens if I 'reinstall' wordpress, will it just replace the wordpress version with the ecommerce theme, etc, and I have to reinstall the theme as well.

Appreciate any help.  Again, apologise if the solution is obvious, just very tentative here.  I figure all the files are here, just what I need to do is not obvious to me....

Thanks

I have the exact same problem.  Did you find a solution?

The only thing I can think of is to completely uninstall AMPSS and reinstall everything.  Then use an import, since thankfully I exported my website at one point.

Hi SinkerSimon,

No, I didn't find a solution.....posted here and on a wordpress forum but no one replied so I figure it stumped everyone.  This has totally stuffed me over.  My backup wouldn't re install either so I lost all my work, except I was able to go into some text files and lift most of the text from various webpages I had created.  I could moan here for hours but won't help.  The thing that has killed me is that I have no idea what caused it so am reluctant to start again, in case the same thing happens again.  I have decided to uninstall AMPPS and see if anything similar is available...and start again on wordpress.
I am new to this, savvy enough to learn the basics quickly but something like this was too much for my knowledge, problem is I genuinely don't know whether AMPPS is a pile of sh*te or whether I was unlucky or stupid.

Good luck
