I seem to be a bit out of my depth here but I cannot seem to get my domain added to enable me to install cs cart.

I can access the directory via ftp.(mydomainname).com so I know my login details are fine.

I get one of 2 error messages when I play around with the FTP Path, Backup Path, Data Directory settings or Server Host settings.

The errors are;

- Could not Resolve Domain Name
- The FTP path submitted is incorrect and does not point to the given domain

I am assuming that my directories are not correct but I have tried so many combinations and it still wont work.

Just wondering if someone could look at the attached screenshot and let me know how I'm supposed to enter it into the add domain page.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Please use "/public_html" for the field FTP Path.

If you still face the issue please PM me the FTP details and I will check it for you.

Hi,

I received the FTP details via PM and it looks like your domain is not pointing to the correct server.

You will need to change the Nameservers for your domain to point to the correct server.

Thank you for confirming that, I had a feeling that this was the case even though my hosting company assured me the settings were all correct.

When I do a DNS lookup I get a different ip address as to what is set in the DNS records.

I have contacted them again to see if they can sort out why it is not working even though everything appears to be set correctly.

Thank you very much for your help.
