Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	I want to import wordpress onto my knownhost server for a new website, but it seems like I have to purchase a premium subscription for Softaculous to be used for this import and one-time process? Is there another way?

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	I have a different question so let me know if I need to open a new thread... I purchased the premium license, and installed wordpress. Though, somehow, my homepage permalink is set to: http://redbluffcommunityroom.com/wp I wasn't expecting the "wp" to be at the end of the URL. When i visit http://redbluffcommunityroom.com I get a 404 Forbidden error. I'd prefer to not have the "wp" at the end. Can you help with this? Thank you in advance.

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5644 Status:	Hi, You can remove the existing WordPress installation if you have not made any changes to your installation yet. Here is the guide to remote installation : https://www.softaculous.com/docs/How_to_remove_a_installation Once you have removed the installation you need to install WordPress again but make sure you leave the "In Directory" field blank on the install form.
