I have a customer using cPanel, who installed several applications through Softaculous. Unfortunately those no longer show up under their list of installed applications.

In an effort to possibly restore this listing, I looked on our backup server from several weeks ago when they installed the application and compared the contents of the ~/.softaculous directory. There didn't appear to be any mention of the installed applications there, so I'm assuming that's not how this is stored.

Is there any way to restore their application list, and more to the point, how is that list generated in the first place?

You should check the private/.softaculous directory for installations.php

Hi,

The installation details are stored in :
~/.softaculous/installations.php

Make sure the scripts which were installed by the user are enabled on the server. If the scripts are not enabled the installations will not be listed as well. You can refer to the following guide on how to Enable/Disable scripts :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Enable/Disable_Scripts

Let us know if you still face the issue.
