Webuzo should be doing most of the configuration, so if something is not right, there is issues with the control panel.

I have been messing around with computers since the commodore 64 was a New Thing. I remember spending hours typing my first program in basic, watching a ball bounce around the screen, and then losing all the data when I turned off the computer because I didn't buy a cassette or floppy storage device.

So I have no fear and plenty of experience with computers, programs and hacking configurations, mostly in Windows, with a few experiments with linux desktop and vps in the past. For the last 3-4 months I've been running desktop linux (Mint 17.2), since Windows 10 came out and I read all the privacy concerns, behind the scene file sharing, automatic updates you can't turn off etc. etc and I swore I wouldn't submit to their crap any more.

I decided to try vps instead of shared hosting again after getting a really good price on one, and hoping for quicker, leaner and meaner operation of the web sites. I have been through 5-6 control panels, none working out of the box for what I want to do, and none working 100% with what I want to do after hacking away at them and their dastardly configurations. Since I'm limiting myself to free versions, support is lacking and slow at best, to none at all for some. They all seem to be 1 or 2 man projects, working in their spare time on them, so I can see why.

If I would be satisfied with Apache and mysql stacks, I would have been done a month ago. But they are old worn out programs, and I want to go with newer, less resource intensive and quicker nginx and mariadb. Running a few Wordpress sites with email. Doesn't sound too hard, does it? One would be surprised, I know I am.

So I think I may just go with the panel that uses the least amount of memory and resources and serves the websites clean and quick. I'll run email through a third party service, free or low cost options are plentiful, if somewhat limiting.
