I have already updated the script by going to software->update settings and it went successfully

but it didnt solve the error. whenever i try to install wordpress, i get this error:

The INFO.XML file could not be found! Please report this to the Server Admin.

Any help please?

Please execute the CRON command:
http://softaculous.com/docs/Immediate_update

This should resolve your issue.
