How about adding a function so we can add our own scripts

For example we would like to offer LoadedAU whcih is a modded version of osCommerce

I already said Typolight but I think you will have a problem with the upgrade system ... Typolight have a Live Update system. This system already update the script without the need to upload the new files archive. But this is a paid service. So I think it will be a problem if Softaculous offer this for free ...

I don't think that Scripts that have no free version should be included.

WHMCS is a paid script. I think it's better to only offer free script installation. But maybe what not have an addon  / plugins to be abble to install paid script ?

Things I like:

Some frameworks:

Typo3              http://typo3.com
Spip                  http://www.spip.net
Code Igniter    http://www.codeignitor.com

Installatron dropped the Typo3 support and SPIP, popular in some EU countries, never made it to Installatron.
