I've wasted so much time with this. The AMPPS stack is junk, poor docs for linux. Is this just for windows and mac users?
Maybe make it clear installing this will wreck any current local websites you have.

Cost me hours and hours of wasted time. AVOID!

Ticket submitted - I'm currently unable to do anything. Ampps doesn't work and all my previous local dev sites appear to be junked.

OK. You replied to my ticket with this:
Did you install fresh Ampps and then copy your old sites in Ampps directory ?

Can you please tell us more about the issue you are facing so we can understand it and help you better.

Regards,
AMPPS Support

My ticket stated this:

I installed ampps using instructions from http://www.ampps.com/wiki/Installing_AMPPS_on_Linux

Now none of my previous localhost devs sites work.

Ampps doesn't work. I simply see the following in the browser window:

AMPPS

[ICO]    Name    Last modified    Size    Description

[DIR]    cgi-bin/    2017-05-15 09:48    -

[DIR]    error/    2014-09-02 10:35    -

Powered by AMPPS and Softaculous

All of the documentation seems out of date.

I am using Ubuntu 14.04.

So I think we can agree it was a FRESH install using the instructions from the Ampps wiki.

Did I copy the 'old sites'? No, where are there instructions on this in the wiki where do I copy them to? What else am I expected to do, but without being given any documentation to do it?

The issue is as described. I supplied a screen shot to show what I am being presented with.

Just tell me how to completely remove Ampps and get my dev sites back working, so I can start working again.

I just wanted to create a custom package for softaculous, but have found I can do the same in Installatron.

I've now lost 2 days of work for other clients
