I recently added the following to my default webuzoCH.conf

<Directory "/public_html/psy.edu.au">
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes MultiViews ExecCGI
        AllowOverride All

        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Directory>

Is it possible to make these changes in the webuzo front end apache configuration?

Hi systemnova,

It's clearly mentioned in webuzoVH.conf file that it should not be edited by the user.

Extra configurations can be added, refer to the below guide for the same
http://webuzo.com/wiki/Add_Extra_Configuration_File

Unfortunately i didn't follow the warning and added to the webuzoVH.conf
Is there a way to reset/fix this?
Kind Regards,
Jesse

Hi,

You can add these extra configuration settings via Webuzo's Extra configuration feature. You can refer to the guide on how to add it here:
http://webuzo.com/wiki/Add_Extra_Configuration_File

About editing the WebuzoVH.conf, we regret to inform that there is no way for you to edit the same and keep the configuration permanent.

Please let us know if you need any further information. We will be happy to help you.

Thanks Nikhil,

When you say:
"About editing the WebuzoVH.conf, we regret to inform that there is no way for you to edit the same and keep the configuration permanent. "

Do you mean that any changes i made to that config file were automatically undone? I just want to check i haven't permanently altered my webuzo install.

Also, when adding the extra configuration, can i simply paste the below into a text file then upload it through the guide you provided?
<Directory "/public_html/psy.edu.au">
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes MultiViews ExecCGI
        AllowOverride All

        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Directory>

Yes the file will be reset after some hours. Is autogenerated by Webuzo. You can use Extra Configuration into Webuzo :)

Hi,

Yes this file i.e. webuzoVH.conf is maintained and edited by Webuzo itself everyday. So any changes you make to this file shall be reverted back. You do not need to worry. You haven't permanently altered Webuzo install by editing this file.

Yes. Simply copy paste the above code in a file and name it with .conf and upload the file as shown in the guide.
