Hi everyone.

Wonder if someone can help. I have been asked to build a website for a business but they want to keep the URL and host so I am building it here. They have a website already, I need to take it down, install wordpress and start again. I've never used softaculous before so literally need hand holding just to get WP installed and then I'm good to go. Any help appreciated.

I am happy with installing WP...I think it's just that there is already a website built and I need to take it down befor I can just go in and build a new website with WP. I believe it is an open cart site.

Hi,

If it is a OpenCart site you can import it to Softaculous using the following guide :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/How_to_Import_an_Installation

Once it is imported you can perform a backup via Softaculous of the imported installation using the following guide :
https://www.softaculous.com/docs/How_to_Backup_an_Installation

Once this is done you can remove the existing files of your site from public_html using File Manager and then install WordPress via Softaculous.

Let us know if you face any issues.
