Okay, new problem.  I'm working on my WP site every build AMPPS has on it, including one I imported, is eating the builds so they're not showing up as normal.  Do I need to reinstall?

Installing or importing WP builds into an AMPPS environment shows that the build is only showing some of the parts, not all, as if it's being blocked.

Hi,

Are you referring to some addons or Plugins being installed in the WordPress installation ?
Can you give us the steps to reproduce the error.

Certainly.  I installed Wordpress in order to build a new theme for my webcomic and then port over.  WHen installing WP, it showed half the images missing.  I then imported my current build over just to make sure that it wasn't just something in WP, and then found that, again, half the images were missing.

It isn't an issue on WP, as this doesn't seem to be affecting my online build at my webhost, but only the one on my system.  I've done numerous virus scans (all come up negative) in case I somehow picked up a virus but to date nothing shows up an issue.

Lastly, I brought it up with the folks whose plugins I use and no problems have been reported there either, so this is the latest avenue I'm investigating.

Hi,

If you have imported the installation from your web to AMPPS then you will have to change the URL and the paths which might be causing the issue as it is unable to locate the images.

And if you have made a new installation try to access it via http://127.0.0.1 instead if http://localhost and see if it works.

Made all the path and URL changes; also tried the method you mentioned above and there's still nothing coming up.

Hi,

Can you try to check the Source of the page ?
Please check if the images they are trying to load have the correct paths or URLs.

checked and all pathways to sources are okay, so the imported version shouldn't be having problems.  Furthermore, as I mentioned in the original (though not well, I admit) this doesn't explain why entirely new builds are having this problem as well.
