Running Softaculous update after hacked (2 Replies, Read 1352 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Our shared host website has been hacked, but our MediaWiki database was not affected. Our most moved our entire public_html folder to a new location and will not let us move files back to public_html from there. So I have to recreate the MW install, which we created using Softaculous. I would like to know if I can recreate the MediaWiki installation using the update script from Softaculous, and what do I have to do manually to prepare for this. I assume that I have to recreate the directories in which the MediaWiki scripts were installed. Is there anything else that the update script uses from the previous installation?
