Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 6 Status:	I have question about that as well, how do you go live with wordpress? my back page http://127.0.0.1/miaumeowmiau.wordpress isn't the same as http://miaumeowmiau.wordpress.com/. I would like to see the same changes I'm making using AMPPS on my regular wordpress page, is that possible?

Please take a backup of your installation via AMPPS and then upload that tar.gz file to your live server. You can download the backup tar.gz file here : http://localhost/ampps/index.php?act=backups Unzip the files to the appropriate path on your live server and create the database and database user as per the credentials in the wp-config.php and then replace all the instances of http://127.0.0.1/miaumeowmiau.wordpress with http://miaumeowmiau.wordpress.com/ in .sql file in the tar.gz and them import that .sql file to the database you just created. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool
