I've just set up a new Mac and have pulled my current project in.
Strangely, I'm getting randomly-occuring PHP errors on random files; it could be my files, or core framework files, but always the same:
- PHP will complain about a parse error
- it's always on the last line of the file
- the line will usually be a closing brace
I have to delete the brace, then re-type it, and the application will run again!
I haven't altered these files, PHP just doesn't like them for some reason; it feels like this is an invisible character issue, but I have no idea how it got there.
Here's some info about my setup:
- Mac / OSX
- PHP 5.6
- Brand new laptop
- Using AMPPS (for reasons too boring to explain) which may, or may not be related to the problem
- Repository hosted on Git
Any insight / ideas would be great, thanks.
