When installing Owncloud from Softaculous, users get the error:

Quote
Setting locale to en_US.UTF-8/fr_FR.UTF-8/es_ES.UTF-8/de_DE.UTF-8/ru_RU.UTF-8/pt_BR.UTF-8/it_IT.UTF-8/ja_JP.UTF-8/zh_CN.UTF-8 failed

Is this because on CentOS the locale is called en_US.utf8 instead of en_US.UTF-8?  This output comes from locale -a on the server.

Anybody able to install and manage an Owncloud on a CentOS 6 (cPanel) server?

Hi,

I just tested OwnCloud with CentOS 6.7 and it worked fine.

Can you please open a support ticket with us so that we can check this for you ?
