I like the fact that you still have version Joomla 1.5 available but would like the option of saving say version Joomla 2.5 myself as a choice. It would then list in a similar manner to version 1.5 and it could keep updating and I could ignore it unless I want to upgrade.

Hi,

You can disable the new versions of scripts from the Webuzo Admin Panel -> Settings Go to Update Settings and uncheck the "Auto Update Scripts" checkbox and click in "Edit Settings" button.
This will not update the scripts to the latest version.

I realize that and that is a great feature. I would like to have a feature that still updates but allows me to "capture" a version, save it and keep it in the menu and still allow the updated version to happen.

Maybe I'm getting a little too excited about Webuzo and want it to do even more. You know it's never enough. :)

Thanks!

Hi,

You can try this. Copy the files of the script you want, for eg Joomla 2.5.2
copy the files from
/var/softaculous/joomla16/*
and make a custom script:
http://softaculous.com/docs/How_to_make_a_Package
http://softaculous.com/docs/Adding_Custom_Scripts
Once you have added a custom script the files in the custom script won't be replaced and the version will be the one which you wanted.
