Apache not running on Win2008 (2 Replies, Read 2651 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Recently installed Ampps 3.3 on Windows 2008 server. When Ampps runs, MySQL is running, but Apache is not - the green Start button is lit. I can press Start repeatedly but it does not appear to run. The text underneath says: C:/Program Files (x86)/Ampps MySQL Started MySQL Restarted I've restored the Apache configuration file, and changed the PHP version to all available options, 5.3 - 5.6, but to no avail. Can anyone suggest how to get it running?

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	From seeing other forum posts, I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 and x64. Also when I run httpd.exe from the command line I get the error message: httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 158 of C:\Program Files (x86)/Ampps/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/Program Files (x86)/Ampps/php/php5apache2_4.dll into server: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

Group: Member Post Group: Elite Member Posts: 317 Status:	Hi, Download and Install C++ Redistributable Visual Studio 2015. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49984 Install 32 Bit version because we provide 32 bit Apache.
