Hi,

I have installed Wordpress locally using Ampps.

I have been editing my theme files successfully.

I tried to install and activate several plugins. I am able to install them, but when I try to activate them nothing happens. They do not activate (as seen in the screenshot). I have attempted this with several plugins. Any ideas?

The plugin I wish to install and test is Meta Slider.

Just to clarify, I don't receive any error messages after attempting to activate the plugins.

Hi,

Are you able to install the default plugin "Hello Dolly" ?

Which OS are you using ?

Hi Brijesh,

Thanks for replying.

The 'Hello Dolly' plugin was installed by default, I also installed the 'Meta Slider' plugin successfully, so I don't have any problems with installing plugins.

However I can't activate any of the plugins. I can't activate 'Hello Dolly' or 'Meta Slider' or any other plugins I have tried.

I am using Windows 7.

Hi :) ,

Have you checked the permissions of the plugins folder?
It should have the write permissions of the user you are using.
