easyhost, i like the network of the host where i bought my reseller from.

        , yeah i also told them the case its cheaper, more scripts available. But i think they have contract or some sort with Fantastico

some hosts keep to tradition (fantastico/installatron) and with Softaculous being the new boy on the block they wont change.
It could also be the case that your host gets Fantastico as part of the package with their VPS.

you may like their network, but if you want softaculous and they wont add this then you might have to go elsewhere.  Try and get them to install the free licence and then get their clients to test both and do a poll to see which is preferred.

I have clients playing around with both at the moment...and they like Softaculous so far...just some want a smaller screen layout was the only comment...

I 2nd this! Fantastico is not even close to being as good as Softaculous.
