 linux question, trying to change php version (4 Replies, Read 2082 times)

dear sirs
i installed softuculous and very impressed with it. details of install follow

kubuntu 15.04
installer .run file used downloaded from main site

it installed perfectally

now i am trying to switch from php version 5.3 to 5.5 doing it through the "hud" thingy it says it changed it and to restart the apache and mysql servers (which i did) and retried the install i was doing it says it still 5.3

if you need more info to help let me know

yes ran the Ampps-3.2-x86.run

everything else runs PERFECT just can't change php version through the gui

looking through the directories see php dir is a symlink.

would i need to modify that manually ?

Hi Troy,

Can you please check that you have properly stopped the Apache & Mysql service and then tried to change the PHP Version. If you still face the issue then can you please open a support ticket here for better solution to your issue:
