OK so I fixed the path statement in 2.9 and there is peace in the room... Until the next time the PC is booted! That's when one of these tiring little bugs that don't affect functionality surface and make your BP rise.

Boot the PC (Windows 7) and softaculous starts (if its in the start up folder) and puts the boot message half way off the right side of the screen but right in the middle of the  screen is a message  left over from version 2.8 saying there is an upgrade, do you want to install it.
Question 1: How do I get rid of that message?
Question 2: How do I get the boot message into the middle of the screen?
Of course little miss know it all says... Get rid of Ampps and install one of the other WAMPS at Apache friends. Not me, I'm loyal to Ampps — For now!

ANy more annoying bugs and I might change my mind.

I use Windows every day... Opening one gives me fresh air  !
