Hi, new user. Can't find documentation that exactly addresses this.

Is it possible to "install and activate" a WordPress plugin for an existing user base?

Hi,

Are you referring to installing and activating plugins from Softaculous or WordPress itself ?

If you are looking it to install it from WordPress admin panel, you can login to the WordPress admin panel from Softaculous and then install plugins by clicking on the "Plugins" tab from the left menu.

I guess I need to explain myself better.

I am a hosting provider with an existing user base who already have WordPress installations.

I understand how I can use Softaculous to provision new users with WordPress and plugins.

What I'm asking is if I would be able to (using Softaculous) update existing installations with a new plugin, and have it activated.

Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry I could not understand your issue in your initial post.

If you would like to install a plugin for existing WordPress installations you can do so from the Edit Installation page in Softaculous Enduser panel.

Also currently custom plugins will not be available to install on the edit installation page. Only the plugin available by default in Softaculous will be available on the edit installation page.

Do you want to install any custom plugin ?
