Firstly, I apologize for the verbose title. I'm using OS X
Yosemite, using AMPPS as my stack. I'm attempting to do some IE browser
testing so I'm running Parallels 10 with the modern.IE Windows VM, and I
cannot access my localhost sites on my Mac on my VM PC.

The "preferred" way of doing so is apparently to copy the "Start
Address" that appears under the Parallels Preferences > Advanced menu
and simply paste that in the IE browser as Parallels provides a bridge
to do so.

However, attempting to navigate to my given start address in my VM IE only provides me with a directory of folders in the Applications/AMPPS/www directory on my Mac. This is not where I store my projects. I run them externally such that my path is different, and I'm therefore unable to access them.

How can I "see" my projects with different paths and directories on my VM without changing said paths or directories?
