PureFTPd change binding

PureFTPd change binding, FTP only listening on localhost, not IP (0 Replies, Read 2992 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Just trying to setup the FTP server element of Ampps running on a CentOS box. However, I can;t connect to it from another machine, or via it's IP. Locally it all seems to be bound to localhost only. I've tried to edit the config feel to either # out the Bind line, or use the servers IP address, or 0.0.0.0, but neither seem to change the binding. In Netstat, it always shows localhost,ftp. Any ideas? Also, is there a complete idiots guide to Ampps under Linux anywhere. I'm a windows/mac guy and i'm getting lost between say the official Pure-FTPd help sections, and the different folder structures used by Ampps. I've not found a generic Ampps guide anywhere for how to get going once it's installed.
